Sean Patrick Flanery has
achieved widespread acclaim for his powerful performances
in both film and television. His portrayal of a gifted social
misfit in Victor Salva’s Powder earned him an MTV Movie
Award nomination for Best Breakthrough Performance. He also
starred in Showtime’s Emmy Award-winning drama “Run
the Wild Fields.”
Born in Lake Charles, Louisiana and raised in Houston, Texas,
Mr. Flanery developed his passion for acting as a drama major
at the University of St. Thomas. In 1992, he was cast as the
title character in George Lucas’ acclaimed ABC television
series “The Young Indiana Jones
Chronicles.” Other
notable TV roles include “The
Strip,” “Diamond
Hunters” and Stephen King’s “The
Dead Zone.”
Mr. Flanery’s additional film roles include Frank
and Jesse, The Grass Harp, Raging Angels, Suicide Kings,
Best Men, The Method, Girl, Zack and Reba, Simply Irresistible,
The Boondock Saints, Body Shots, D-Tox and Kiss
the Bride.
Mr. Flanery will next be seen in the upcoming sequel Boondock
II: All Saints’ Day and co-starring in the Sci-Fi Channel’s
“Dead Lawyers.” |
